Dark Dreams

The theme for this project is inspired by the deeper meaning of dreams and nightmares looking at how nightmares link to depression.

These plights often go hand in hand and are often visualised through art and surrealism.  Salvador Dali’s work as inspired me as many others with his artwork 'The persistence of memory'.

Amelia has produced a range of atmospheric drawings using mixed media, incorporating text while always keeping a dark surrealist thread running through the work. Using the brand 'The Vampires Wife' as inspiration her work has culminated in a fashion collection.
